Make up for blue eyes?

I have really blue eyes, dark brown hair and have a light complexion, any ideas as to what colours i should consider?

Charcoals and blacks, sort of smokey eyes look really pretty on blue eyes. Make sure you know what you are doing to apply it properly. It also depends on your skin tone, you probably have what's called "cool" tone skin, and those colors look best on your type of skin tone. Blue/violet based colors.

you might want to try lots of shimmer. go for pearly whites, greens, blues, purples, blue eyes can go with almost any color. play it up and have fun.

ALMAY MAKEUP COMPANY HAS A GREAT CHOICE. IT IS ALMAY INTENSE I-COLOR POWEDER SHADOW TRIO FOR BLUES. IT HAS A LIGHT SILVERY BLUE FOR THE UPPER LID TO THE BROW, A DEEP COPPER COLOR FOR THE LID FROM THE LASH LINE TO THE CREASE AND A DARKER SILVERY BLUE TO HILITE IN THE CREASE AND IT SAYS TO USE A BROWN EYELINER. IT LOOKS REALLY GOOD WITH BLUE EYES AND BROWN HAIR!

Yes... brown eyeliner really makes your blue eyes pop. It will also look really good with your hair color. Make sure it is a chocolate brown..not a reddish brown. And for eyeshadow.. pinkish peaches work great!! Since orange is on the opposite side of the color wheel of blue, colors in the orange family will make your eyes stand out the most. (pinks and peaches!!) A peach blush will also look wonderful. =)

i use a light purple color

browns, navy's, silvers, that i use on my blue eyes and i always get compliments

Make up for blue eyes?

use contrasting colors around your eye. the opposite of blue on the color wheel is orange. Now i know you probably don't want to wear orange eyeshadow so look for something bronze or copper and stick with brown liner. Also try different shades of blue shirts, hold them up to your face in the store to see which ones really make your eyes pop.

Make up for blue eyes?

depends on what your wearing, where your going, and what time of the day it is. I'd wear some eyeliner all the time any time though ;)

Make up for blue eyes?

I also have bright blue eyes and dark brown hair.. i have a dark complexion tho.. very light reds work well and tans.. they also stand out well with black eyeliner

Make up for blue eyes?

well on your eyes i think that dark colors would look great since you have dark hair.try a darkish brown shimmer and then brown eyeliner on the bottom!

Make up for blue eyes?

a light brown will do perfectly. a little eyeliner mascara and u r good. Browns r always good to work with because they look natural but beautiful at the same time!

Blue eyes are the prettiest of all. But unfortunately, you don't have much of a selection of colors to chose from when you are purchasing makeup. Your best bet is to stick to neutral colors. Try a lot of browns. Never Blue!!!!!! That will be an overkill of blue and you'll just end up looking like MIMI from that old show with Drew Carey!

PS. Purple is best for Green Eyes. So don;t try the purple. It will just make you look tired.

i am the same thing and i found it looks really good when you wear eyeshadow in this order, brown then blue then green then gently blend them so they go together but still looks like those colors. then wear masscara and a little eyeliner, just try it it works really good and brings out your eyes!%26lt;3

For foundation and concealer, you should try Bare Escentual Bare Minerals makeup it's really natural and covers everything. You can get it at Sephora or Ulta.

For eyeshadow, you should try shades in dusky plum, lavender, sandy-pink, hazelnut, deep rosy-pink, bronzy-gold, purply-cranberry, khaki green, and all browns and golds.

For eyeliner, try greyish-brown (sable), bronze, and violet.

For mascara, try a deep brown (Lancome Definicils)

For cheeks, try shades in peachy-pink, apricot, golden-rose, light cinnamon, and light raspberry.

For lips, try apricot, pinky-brown (Clinique "Tenderheart" Different Lipstick), sheer raspberry, coral pink, rose, and cinnamony-pink (Clinique "Pink Spice" Long Last Soft Shine Lipstick).
