my friends and i decided to get blue highlights and since my hair is VERY BLACK, i have to bleach it. i want to do it as un-damaging to my hair as possible! please help. can i get it at walmart? oh. and i need directions if possible :D THANKS!

If your hair is black and you use a at home bleach kit....best case scenario your hair pulls to a yellow(although orange is much more likely). When you add the blue color, it'll be like mixing yellow and blue so you're hair will more then likely turn very green or a weird dark greeny shade. Don't do it at home. It won't turn out how you'd like.

you can get one at sallys beauty supply for about $8.00......since you are only doing a strip, you can isolate a section of hair using foil.
