Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

well they are not fully black they are both mixed with white the dad has more white than black and they had a child with blue eyes and blonde hair....and my bother looked chinese when he was born and both our parens are mixed but not with chinese how do genetics work cause it contridicts what medical doctors say....cause they say you take the genes of your parents not your granparents but people i know have WHY and it causes confusion at birth cause my boyfriends sister came out looking white and both there parents are black the dad has a bit of arabic and they got a blood test and they are the parents...any doctors can explain because i am curious about what my kids could look like i have black, white, indian and spanish blood..

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

yes......why not?

More with all the mixes you say that exist in your family.

There is something called recessive genes.......that brings genetic from our grand grand parents to our kids.

Tell doctors that they are wrong.

I'm half arab, white with blach hair and very dark eyes.......my husband is french basque, white with brown hair and eyes.

My 2 sons are white, dark hair, one blue eyes and the other green ones.looking further, we found that our grandparents were blue and green eyes also.......so that repeated in the 4th generation.

Clare explained it very clearly........

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

What I've heard about this is that when both parents have blue eyes, there is a strong probability of their children having blue eyes as well!

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

Well, yes, if a mutation takes place on both ends or if there's a gene for blue eyes hiding on each side of the family. It can happen.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

Yes, two brown eyed people can have a blue eyed child.

The gene for brown eyes is dominant, the gene for blue is recessive. That means if you get a brown eye gene from one parent and a blue eye gene from another parent the brown eye gene will be dominant and you will have brown eyes. If you pass the blue eye gene to your child and your partner passes a blue eye gene as well the child will have blue eyes, even if both parents have brown eyes.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

Interesting.

with ur lineage, u could have interesting results.

But it's impossible to say definitively about specific traits that this will happen %26amp; that ewould not.

Why don't u read about genetics?

Introductorily, u would have to read about the peas, but it gets very interesting.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

Yeah...if one of them is Vanessa Williams.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

Well, if you know American history well, you'll learn that slave masters often fathered illegitimate children with their slave women. It was quite common and I think a high percentage of African Americans have some European blood. So it could be that both black parents had a white slaveholder in their lineage in the distant past. Since blue eyes are recessive they could show up at any time if both parents have the gene.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

Sure Why not, My dad has Grey eyes and his parents are Black

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

It's simple. The mixed parents each had one dominant gene and one recessive gene for eye color. The offspring will either get one gene from each parent. In this case, the baby happened to get a recessive eye color gene from both parents. Unlikely, since there is approximately a 25% chance of blue eyes, but not impossible.

Here are the possible gene combinations and resultant eye colors that the baby can receive from the parents (B=dominant brown; b=recessive blue):

BB = A dominant gene from both parents. Brown eyes.

Bb = A dominant brown gene from father. Brown eyes.

bB = A dominant brown gene from mother. Brown eyes.

bb = A recessive gene from both parents. Blue eyes.

Same thing for hair colors. There are dominant and recessive traits. Sometimes the recessive traits can get passed down through multiple generations before coming out, then the parents are like WTF!?!?!

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

you cant predict it all the time. genetics work in mysterious ways! my best friend is mixed half black and she has blonde hair and blue eyes so yeah..weird..

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

Yes, it can happen. Both of parents are black, my mother's back ground is African American, Irish, English and Native American (Cherokee) not sure my dad's background. I was born with blue eye color. It's just something that's in the genes. My sister on my father's side has grey, so I think it's more on his side of the fam.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

a child has four grandparents. If one of them has blond hair and blue eyes then it is possible. Highly unlikely .... but possible.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

Yes one fo my nieces has blue eyes both of her parents are black

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

well my sons dad is black and im white, our son looks all white and currently has dark blue eyes-- i have green eyes and my husband has dark brown eyes. Im still unsure if his eyes are going to change or not but itll be intersesting to see! And yes, i think that 2 black people can have blue eyes because now days, there are no 'pure black' or 'pure white' people, if you think about it we are all mixed with a little something and you never know how a babies gonna come out.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

The color of a person's eyes really has nothing to do with the color of their skin. It has more to do with genetics. Two black who have dark brown eyes can have a child with blue eyes. Just like two white with dark brown eyes have a child who is born with blue eyes. Two people who have blue eyes cannot have a brown eyed child because of genetics. Look up Mendel's law.

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?

both of my grandparents are black and two of my aunts have blonde hair. one of them has blue eyes and one of them has grey eyes....so yes

Can two black people have a child with blue eyes?
