I naturally have black hair, light skin and blue eyes and i always hear people saying that someone shouldn't dye their hair too dark because it will look unnatural with their light skin and make them look goth......well what if you are like that naturally!

Well, usually, people with black ahir would have a tanner skin tone because of the amount of pigment in their cells. The darker the color, the more pigment. So, logically, one would think that if you have a light skin tone, then you have have a lighter hair color.

whoever is telling you that the look is unnatural, then they haven't experienced much of the world. for asians, your description is very common, and in caucasians your look is more pure. brown hair and darker skin is usually associated with more mixing of genes.

Cause Hair Dyes can't replicate nature! Usually people who say the have "Natural Black Hair" actually have darkest brown hair. As someone else said Asians and other Ethnic Groups have true "Black" hair. Not always but I will have kids (Emo's) come into the shop wanting that blue/black hair thing and it never looks good. It looks so fake no matter your skin coloring, just because it is fake. Science has never been able to capture what God intended!

Also, the older we get, the harsher we look in dark hair colors. It seems to accentuate all our wrinkles, and our dry skin. Many older women think the dark hair makes them look like they did in their youth, and their minds are so set on that that we cannot convince them otherwise.
