Yeah, it would be tinted, it would look gorgeous :)

Nope. If your hair is black to start with then it wont show up at all, you need to strip your hair first. It would tint it, but it wouldn't show up as brilliantly as it does on the box

It depends on how dark the colors are compared to your black hair.... Leave them on a long as you can to make them darker...That may help....

you would need to bleach your hair first in order for it to show up..........if you want to join the very first HOME HAIR COLORIST Blog.....and start eaarlning how to do pro color at home......join up and start reading.....we are getting ready to do our first hair color ...by just doing about a dozen small highlights around the face....Here in LA they are called ribbons of light.......

but I have been teaching basics and lots of things never given out to the public....so that you can learn and do it to yourself.!

I colored my hair black a few months ago. I cant get rid of it for anything. Nothing works for black hair unless you have it stripped. If you want that effect, try bleaching just the ends, and then do the coloring. dont know about the roots though, that would be kinda hard. I have colored my hair 6 times in the past 6 months and my hair is still really really really really dark brown. My hair is naturally light brown. Hope it all works out
