Streaking hair? help?

kay, so my friend and i are having a party after school gets out and my friend wants me to dye her hair there.

i've dyed hair 2343325 times, but she wants streaks...

i know, we should go to a salon, but she doesn't really care how it turns out..

i just don't want it to be a complete mess,

she has light blond hair and wants blue streaks.

can someone tell me how i should do this?

*don't tell me not to do it, i don't want your opinion*

*she wants semi permanent hair color*

Go to Salley Hansen and get a cap to pull her hair through and some blue dye. Just make sure not to put the dye against the cap or it may leak through and create a cheetah look on her hair. Good luck!

Mani Panic color at Sally Beauty Supply, if they don't have that particular brand, they should have something else that works.

Take long strips of foil and lay the pieces she wants blue onto the foil. Paint the blue on, then fold the foil up two or three times to keep the blue hair hidden in the foil. Keep doing this for every piece she wants blue.

I've done purple and bright red streaks in mine... I just grab a thin chunk and paint it basically. I really don't care how mine turns out though. But if she's using semi permanent then she can just wash her hair a few times if she doesn't like it.

Does she just want it for the party? If she doesn't care how it turns out, then she shouldn't care if it doesn't last past the night. I recommend hair mascaras -- they have them in TONS of colors and there's no commitment!

you need a frost and tip cap, a hook to pull the hair out and some blue dye. Make sure that her hair isn't wet and all the gel or hairspray is brushed out first. pull out of cap, leave on for recommended time, then rinse out with cap still on .

use a rat tail comb. part the hair off where you want to streak. use foil. with comb part off what you want streaked in small sections. put foil in between the hair you dont want streaked and streaked hair. apply color to the parting with foil under it.wrap foil around until all pieces she wants streaked are colored and wrapped in foil.the longer it is left on the more it will stain the blonde hair blue. use heat if you want more permanent affect.
